Angelica Prater has been with The Firm, Inc since 2019 and is the Social Media Coordinator for all of our communities, as well as the Community Manager for Riverside Estates in Covington, Georgia and Eagle View MHP in Greensboro, Georgia. Prior to managing her current communities, she was the park manager for 3 other parks that we have since sold.
Angelica is not only a dedicated employee; she is also one of the sweetest ladies you will ever meet. Soft spoken, kind and friendly are just a few of the qualities she possesses.
Angelica was born and raised in Lewisville, Texas and moved to Trenton, Texas in 2008 where she graduated high school in 2011. Losing her mother at the tender age of 17 was extremely hard on her, as her father was not around during the most difficult time in her life. She and her two blood siblings were separated when her siblings moved to Pennsylvania to live with an aunt after their mother passed. She also has two younger half siblings who live in Mexico and whom she has never had the opportunity to meet. Due to her early losses, it is no wonder that family is the most important part of her life.
Angelica met her husband, Josh, in 2010 when they were Juniors in high school and they have been married since May of 2012. They share three beautiful children, Brayden 10, Alexis 7 and Zachary 5. She has two Blue Nose Pit Bulls, Chevy her female is 8 and Bullet her male is 3. Angelica says, “They are my babies”.
Angelica and her husband moved to Oklahoma in 2011 and lived there for 4 years, this is where they had Brayden in 2012 and Alexis in 2014. They moved back to Texas in 2015 and had Zachary in 2016. After her husband’s grandfather passed away, the family moved across the states to Georgia which is where they now call home, and they love it. They purchased a home on 5 acres of land and share the property with her husband’s parents.
Angelica has several hobbies which she enjoys; crafting, fishing and camping. She loves spending time on the lake. She says her biggest passion is dirt track racing where she and her family spend most Saturday nights.
When asked what she enjoys the most about being a park manager, she says,” I love building relationships among residents. I feel when a property manager gets to know each resident, they tend to feel comfortable and safe in our communities, which also results in them paying the rent on time”. She says, “I also like being a Social Media Coordinator because it lets my creativity show, when needed”.
Angelica says that cooking is also her passion, and that she is her happiest when she is cooking for her family. I personally know that she makes the best homemade Tamales I have ever had!
Angelica’s thoughtful and caring personality is a wonderful asset to our team! She is such a pleasure to work with and I am so thankful I get to work with her on a daily basis!
